XBABBLE is very concerned about the privacy of users of our products. To this extent, no user information is collected except when necessary for using a specific feature of our products (Apple Push Notification Service), and it is never shared with any third parties.
The only time information is requested other than listed here is for use in troubleshooting technical issues. Of course, the user has the option to refuse in that case (though that may negatively affect our ability to resolve any issues).
In order for Push Notifications to work, we must register your account remotely when the XBABBLE Softphone is in the background or closed on your iOS or Android device.
To accomplish this, we transmit your SIP account details over a HTTPS and TTLS (Tunneled Transport Layer Security) secure connection. This information is shared with no one and is erased immediately when the push instance expires or when the user disables Push Notifications in the application.
If the user uses one of our methods for multitasking instead of Push Notifications, this information is not sent to or stored on our servers.
Push Notifications is the only feature we currently offer that requires any collection of user information.
For ease of use, our products have settings preconfigured for many popular VoIP providers. This does not mean that XBABBLE is in any way responsible for information you have shared with or that is collected by the provider. Providers should be contacted directly for information about their privacy policies.
XBABBLE may post on several forums and social networking sites. XBABBLE does not collect information from any of these sites; they are only used as tools for communicating with our users. Any concerns about the privacy of information shared there should be directed to the respective site.
The XBABBLE website contains links to other sites. XBABBLE is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. If you have concerns about privacy, you should familiarize yourself with the site's privacy policy before registering for any goods or services there.
